Our lead counsel Jana McLean spoke recently on "Hot Topics" at the popular National Environmental, Energy and Resources Law Conference. We had hometown advantage, with Vancouver being the host this year. The conference was attended by lawyers from across Canada.
The two-day conference included a lively discussion about new developments in the areas of contaminated sites and environmental prosecutions, including the duty to report, claims of legal privilege and the role of expert witnesses.
