We're thrilled to announce that our founder Jana McLean has been recognized for her environmental law practice at the recent Women & Business Law Awards held in New York City. Nominees for the environmental law category included lawyers from Canada, the United States and South America. Jana was nominated and recommended by her peers for this award.
This event was coordinated by Benchmark Litigation, an independent ranking system for lawyers in Canada, the United States, Europe, Asian Pacific and Latin America. Benchmark conducts interviews of professionals and clients in making its selection for the award.
Jana's response to the award: "I'm honoured to be recognized among a group of very impressive and talented lawyers who all contribute greatly to the profession. It is particularly sweet to be recognized among my women peers, and after working so hard recently to launch Iris Legal."
